Wes Calhoun is a shifter that’s a bad boy trying to turn good. He used to be the alpha of a renegade pack but is now an unwanted member of the Grey Wolves. While trying to find out what his former pack is up to, he gets caught by human rancher Naomi Evans. In order to save her and not repeat history, he introduces her to the supernatural world, even if it is breaking the rules.
I really enjoyed this story. I thought the author did an excellent job with Wes’s character. He was so torn and determined that he was a monster. Only Naomi sees what he truly is, honorable and committed to a fault. The way it was written, I thought maybe there had been a previous book showing Wes leading the rogue group, but none that I found. I am glad I found this author and look forward to reading more of her stories. I highly recommend.
