Amanda is a fortune teller- clairvoyant. She hates run down hotel rooms but it adds to the mystery which is part of her business. This is the third stop in two weeks. Amanda is a witch and five hundred dollars away from leaving her old life behind her. Then a woman comes in with a little girl that has a broken soul from her father taking her innocence and to visit her regularly to sexually abuse her. The mother begs Amanda to kill him. Amanda is angry and tells the woman to leave but then calls her back because of the little girl. Then the man dies with no sign of a crime. Amanda stopped in a nasty bar to have a drink while waiting for a bus to go to NYC then a guy walks in Amanda was once involved in until he found out she was a witch and she found out he was a witch hunter. He went to Amanda as he needed help as he believes Jesse- his brother is in trouble. Jesse works for the Paranormal Analysis Unit of the FBI as does Alec. Jesse went on a case by himself and Alec hasn’t heard from Jesse in several days. Alec forces Amanda to help him.

This was a great story. It had a little of everything: action, magic,romance, mystery, voodoo priest, dead body, witch, witch hunter, missing FBI agent, sexual tension, suspense and alot more. But there were unsolved questions at the end of the story. I didn’t like how Amanda just got on the bus and left at the end. But besides that i loved the story. I loved the twists and turns in this story. I recommend.
