Kate Spivey has been banished to North Carolina for almost getting kicked out of college. On her drive in, she sees local bad boy Reed Black and instantly wants him. They decide to be friends and start spending time together where they get to know the real people behind the reputation.
This was a decent book. It’s a pretty straight-forward contemporary new adult book. Once Kate and Reed have their first outing it’s pretty obvious that Reed is definitely far from his reputation. Whereas Kate, for some really unexplained reason, really did screw up her life and doesn’t seem too repentant about it, although she does try to make better judgement calls. Overall not a bad read. I recommend only for those that like this genre.
