Disappointed
Giselle Jareau is destined to be a great witch. Julien Beaumont is determined to take a road full of vengeance but is assigned to watch over Giselle.
I really didn’t like this book, which was disappointing as I really liked the description. I thought Julien acted a bit childish for his age. I also didn’t like how Giselle was basically abandoned and neglected when she was destined to be so powerful. I also didn’t like how the narrative hopped from person to person, especially when some of the pieces just didn’t necessarily need to be completely told in the story.
