Sage had quit corporate life to be a bartender . Sage never backed away from a challenge. Sage had been in L A almost three years- she had been almost thirty when she left to be a bartender. Sage wanted stories and adventures , she was up for anything she felt brought her closer to life. Sage’s best friend was Kenna but Sage was also in “ love” with Kenna’s older brother Garrett even though she had never even kissed Garrett until the one day in the wine cellar then it was worse instead of better she only wanted more instead of being cured.. Sage bartender for Kenna’s other brother at The Yard which was a restaurant with a full bar here Sage could make up her own drinks.

I really loved this story and the plot was great also. Garrett and Sage didn’t fall l right into bed and didn’t make love easy and it didn’t flow like a  calm river.The story showed how love can be messy, intrusive, and confusing as can be. Also showed how love can hurt and seem to almost drive you insane. A truer picture of love then most stories portray. But when it’s right nothing like love even if you really have to sacrifice for each other and work at making it right for each other. I loved all the characters especially Garrett and Sage and all the ups and downs they go through. I highly recommend.
