Jax is one of the Guardians of the Realms. He’s known as the one with the biggest sexual appetite and even has his own harem. When his brothers mysteriously start finding their mates, he gets tired of being a sexual tool who is continually unsatisfied and hopes that he’s the next to find his mate. He’s just not sure if she’d be enough to sustain his appetite. Ileana has been a shadow her very long life, ferreting out secrets while she hopes for revenge for her parents’ deaths. When Jax finds her while she’s on a stake-out, she’s not happy about having a mate, even though she’s unable to deny the pull.

As with the other books in this series, this story was pretty good. I just had a little problem with the Jax that was seen in previous books to this Jax, the much more serious and concentrated Jax. I read through it pretty quickly and enjoyed the overall storyline that follows all of the books in this series. I highly recommend.
