Aiden Conley hates coming into town. When his sister forces him to help with her wedding plans, he has to go to a cake tasting, and runs into Claire Milton. Claire is his late wife’s sister. They haven’t seen each other in 10 years, but that doesn’t make a difference towards the love Claire has always felt towards Aiden. When he’s suddenly accused of killing his wife, Claire will stop at nothing to prove his innocence.

Fire Away takes place in the world of Somewhere, TX, which I’m familiar with from other books. It’s pretty fast paced and gives a very full story that I couldn’t stop reading until I was done. Claire’s unshakable faith in Aiden was something one doesn’t read about much where you can actually believe it. As they moved deeper and deeper into the mystery, you couldn’t help but root them on.

It was a great story with great characters. I highly recommend it.
