Antonia is trying to make a better life for herself by school, work, and staying out of her twin brother Andrew’s schemes. Connor is a wolf shifter but raised completely in the human world. Connor owns Maxim Securities. Connor’s firm deals with shifter and human problems. There is someone who is killing wolf shifters, and if Connor doesn’t find out who the feds will take over. Then Connor ends up a bar which is being raided and Antonia and Andrew are there after some illegal decisions. While there Connor finds out Antonia is his mate. Antonia has an issue with trust and has lived for her brother as he is all she has ever had for family as they were brought up in an orphanage.
I knew it was a novella but believe i would have liked it more if it was longer and had more depth to the story. Although I also know now there are several books before this and would probably have enjoyed this more if I had read them first.Anyway this story just seemed rushed even for a novella. Also Antonia was all about her brother then all of sudden switches and everything is Connor. I don’t know just didn’t really enjoy although I didn’t hate it and that is why this gets a three also I was able to finish it and that is always a plus.
