Didn't Work For Me

Devyn and Riley are best friends throughout college. At the end of college, Devyn has one more task to achieve, which she decides to do with Riley. This last task has long-standing consequences. Five years later, Riley tries to make amends to Devyn when he finds out about a secret Devyn’s been keeping from him.
I had a really hard time relating to the characters. The way they, and their friendship, were built up, I just couldn’t buy into the whole situation. Unfortunately, this ruined the book for me as there really wasn’t anything else that made it stand out to me.
